Founded in 2006, HOODBYAIR is one of the pioneers of modern-day streetwear. Every cultural icon of the early 2010s could be seen wearing an HBA piece at one point in time.

At the 2022 BET Awards, Kanye showed up in an HBA leather bomber and put a spotlight back on the classic brand.

After rocking some archive HBA pieces at festival shows, Carti dedicated an entire song to the brand in December 2023. He brought out the entire Opium label to pose in the “H00DBYAIR” music video alongside him.
